Job description for Machine Operator

Location: Boxtel

As an Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the forming department of our snack production lines. You will set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, ensuring that all required materials and machinery are available and functioning according to established procedures.

The shift times are:

• 06:00 – 15:00
• 15:00 – 00:00

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include checking the availability of:

• Raw materials
• Packaging materials
• Workforce resources

In addition, you will be responsible for the correct setup, adjustment, and start-up of the production line. During production, you will monitor machine performance and adjust settings such as speed and temperature when necessary.

You will also inspect products for:

• Product quality
• Weight
• Quantities
• Visual appearance
• Product shape

You will record production data, including quality results, production quantities, and the technical condition of equipment, while following company procedures and work instructions.

Production is carried out according to a daily production schedule, which determines the product to be manufactured.

Each production line has a setup plan that clearly indicates which machines are required and in what order they should be assembled.

You will assemble the production line according to this plan and then check that all equipment is clean and correctly installed. Once the inspection is completed and approved, production can begin.

This position carries a high level of responsibility. You will be personally responsible for:

• Correctly setting up the production line
• Performing inspections and quality checks
• Maintaining a safe and clean production environment

The setup and inspection process takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Production then begins, and you will ensure that products are processed correctly and meet all quality standards.

• Proactive and quality-oriented attitude;
• Technical knowledge or at least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Hands-on mentality;
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues;
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system;
• Experience in the food production industry;
• Good command of the English language;
• Possession of a valid B driving licence;
• Have a Greek ID card or European passport (Greek ID card must have been issued within the last 5 years and be free of any deterioration).

• Gross salary 17,50 € gross per hour (+112,50% allowance for working in 2 shifts);
• 15 ATV days, resulting in approximately 40 vacation days per year;
• 8% holiday allowance;

We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for the rent is around €200-210 per week and includes water, electricity, natural gas and internet.

• Covered travel costs to and from work (fuel card).
• We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your new home;
• We will get you your Dutch healthcare insurance and tax number;
• The respective employment contract, signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English).
