As a Roofer, you will perform various roofing tasks using different materials and techniques. You will primarily work in a team where the quality of work delivered, collaboration, and safety are paramount.
Working Hours:
- 40 per week from 07:00-16:00.
Your responsibilities
- Performing work preparations;
- Executing demolition work;
- Performing roofing work using various materials and techniques;
- Performing repair, service, and maintenance work;
- Performing specific tasks such as masonry and lead and zinc work / PVC;
- Connecting central heating pipes to the central heating system in accordance with “the new bracing” method, if necessary;
- Asbestos handling (if certified for this);
- Installing solar panels;
- Cleaning up the workplace and storing tools.
You are a perfect match on our vacancy for Roofer if:
- Several years of demonstrable experience as a roofer;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Service-oriented and customer-focused;
- Knowledge of roofing materials and tools;
- VCA (Basic) / Safety Course Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Checklist Contractors;
- Driving license B and preferably BE;
- Experience with new construction, renovation, and maintenance work is a plus;
- No fear of heights;
- Good command of the English language;
- Have a Greek ID card or European passport (Greek ID card must have been issued within the last 5 years and be free of any deterioration).
Our client is looking for experienced roofers, but also employees who want to learn the trade. Some experience in construction is certainly helpful.
What we offer
- Salary between €2800 – €3200 gross per month;
- A full-time job in a fun team with an informal working atmosphere;
- 25 vacation days per year based on a full-time work week;
- 8,33% holiday allowance;

We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for the rent is around €200-210 per week and includes water, electricity, natural gas and internet.
- We take care of the transportation by finding a car for you (either personal or shared with roommates);
- Covered travel costs to and from work (fuel card).
- We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your new home;
- We will get you your Dutch healthcare insurance and tax number;
- The respective employment contract, signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English).
