As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of machines, installations and technical systems. You make sure faults are resolved quickly and professionally and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime as much as possible. Thanks to your expertise, the production process continues to run safely and efficiently.
For this position, we are not looking for a starter, but for an experienced maintenance technician who can work independently, quickly analyze technical problems and is comfortable taking responsibility.
Your responsibilities
- Analyzing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in machines and installations.
- Assessing the nature and severity of faults and determining whether immediate action is required.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance to avoid technical problems.
- Carrying out corrective maintenance on production installations and technical systems.
- Performing repairs both inside and outside the production environment.
- Minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe production environment.
- Guiding and supporting external technicians and technical suppliers.
- Identifying technical improvement opportunities and discussing them with your supervisor.
- Informing and supporting colleagues with technical matters.
- Working and processing materials using hand tools and machine tools.
- Complying with safety, quality, environmental and hygiene regulations.
- Working according to the applicable food safety and workplace safety procedures.

We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician with a broad technical background and strong problem-solving skills.
You have:
- A completed technical or vocational qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (equivalent to Dutch MBO level 3 or 4).
- Demonstrable relevant work experience in a technical maintenance role.
- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical installations.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits.
- Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and control systems.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of HACCP, Food Defense and safety regulations is an advantage.
- An independent and proactive work attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to safety.
- Willingness to work in a 2- or 3-shift system and participate in on-call duties.
- A good command of English.

What we offer
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- A gross monthly salary between €3,575 and €4,081, depending on knowledge and experience.
- Shift allowance on top of your salary.

We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for the rent is around €200-210 per week and includes water, electricity, natural gas and internet.

- Covered travel costs to and from work (fuel card).
- We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your new home;
- We will get you your Dutch healthcare insurance and tax number;
- The respective employment contract, signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English).
