Job description for Assembly & Repair Technician
Location: Hapert
Are you technically minded, accurate and someone who prefers to solve a problem rather than simply reject a part? Then this position as an Assembly and Repair Technician could be a great opportunity for you.
As an Assembly and Repair Technician, you will assemble, inspect and repair technical parts by hand. You will alternate between assembly work, quality checks and troubleshooting, making this a varied technical position where both practical skills and problem-solving ability are important.
You will work in a day-shift environment in Hapert, where attention to detail, quality and technical understanding are essential.
Working Hours
You will work:
- 40 hours per week
- In a regular day-shift schedule
- Occasional overtime may be required when necessary
Your responsibilities
As an Assembly and Repair Technician, your responsibilities include:
- Assembling technical parts carefully by hand.
- Inspecting products coming from an automated production line.
- Identifying technical issues or deviations.
- Repairing or reworking parts where possible.
- Checking whether the final product functions correctly.
- Determining which parts can be reused.
- Recording the work you have completed.
- Working according to established quality and safety procedures.
- Contributing ideas for smarter or more efficient ways of working.
- Combining assembly, inspection and troubleshooting activities throughout your working day.
You are a perfect match on our vacancy for Assembly & Repair Technician if:
- You have a technical pre-vocational or secondary vocational education, or comparable practical experience.
- You enjoy working with your hands.
- You work accurately and have a strong eye for detail.
- You have a good technical foundation and enjoy investigating and solving problems.
- You are able to work independently.
- You communicate easily with colleagues.
- You speak English.
- You are willing to work occasional overtime when necessary.
- Previous experience with assembly or repair work is considered an advantage.

We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for the rent is around €200-210 per week and includes water, electricity, natural gas and internet.

- Covered travel costs to and from work (fuel card).
- We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your new home;
- We will get you your Dutch healthcare insurance and tax number;
- The respective employment contract, signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English).
