Are you a motivated Maintenance Technician with a passion for mechanical and electrical systems? Would you like to work at the most innovative laundry in Europe, which consists of an ultra-modern high-tech production line with the latest techniques?

Then working at Nedlin as a Maintenance Technician is the perfect position for you! In our factory we use advanced X-ray scanners, camera techniques, folding robots, chip recognition and a dynamic storage system. The same laundry every day, but with a different routine every day. With you at the controls as a Maintenance Technician, every wash at Nedlin gets a perfect ’round’ in our machines.

Your responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive maintenance on various machines and equipment;
• Resolving malfunctions and technical problems to ensure optimal production processes;
• You work closely with your colleagues on the production floor;
• You are partly responsible for starting up and shutting down the machines on a daily basis;
• You carry out maintenance and repairs on our modern machinery.

You are part of our technical service at Nedlin in Elsloo. This team consists of a head of technical service and a total of about 8-10 Maintenance Technicians, working in a two-shift schedule. You are responsible, in collaboration with the production managers and production employees, to ensure that every part of the washing process runs as optimally as possible.

• Experience in a similar position;
• Affinity with electrical engineering, PLC and control technology;
• Mechanical insight;
• Independence, decisiveness and motivation!
• Good command of the English language;
• Possession of a valid B driving licence;
• Have a Greek ID card or European passport (Greek ID card must have been issued within the last 5 years and be free of any deterioration).

What we offer 

• Gross salary per month 2800-3200 €;
• Allowance afternoon shift 19.00/ 20.00 = 122,5%;
• Allowance afternoon shift 20.00/ 06.00 = 145%;

• You work from Monday to Friday in 2 shifts;
• 25 free (paid) holidays per year (when working full-time);
• 8% of the gross salary vacation money.

We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for the rent is around €185 per week and includes water, electricity, natural gas and internet.

• We take care of the transportation by finding a car for you (either personal or shared with roommates);
• Covered travel costs to and from work (fuel card);
• We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your new home;
• We will get you your Dutch healthcare insurance and tax number;
• The respective employment contract, signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English).
