Job description for Operator Baker

Your responsibilities

As an Operator Baker, you play a key role in the production process of our traditional Dutch pies (“vlaaien”). You’ll start at the beginning of the production with preparing dough and fillings, and gradually learn the entire process, from mixing ingredients to operating the machinery. No two days are the same, and your work will be both varied and dynamic.

  • You prepare doughs and fillings according to precise recipes.
  • You operate production machines that shape, fill, and decorate the pies.
  • You work accurately and ensure every pie meets our high-quality standards.
  • Together with your team of around 6–7 colleagues, you ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
  • You keep your workstation clean and tidy — hygiene is essential in the food industry.
  • You’ll follow an internal training program to master the trade, with the goal of growing into a fully qualified all-round operator.
