Job description for Mixer Operator

Are you looking for a new, long-term, full-time opportunity in the Netherlands? Do you enjoy physical work and prefer working regular day shifts? Then this position could be the right opportunity for you.

As a Mixer Operator, you play an essential role in the production process. You are responsible for processing raw materials into the finished adhesive products that your colleagues then fill into buckets, tins, tubes and canisters.

You will receive thorough training and guidance to help you learn the complete production process. The goal is for you to eventually operate the machinery independently and take responsibility for your part of the production process.

Your responsibilities

As a Mixer Operator, you are responsible for ensuring that raw materials are mixed correctly, safely and according to the required quality standards. Your responsibilities include:

  • Mixing raw materials and ensuring the correct dosage.
  • Performing intermediate checks throughout the mixing process.
  • Reporting malfunctions and identifying possible areas for improvement.
  • Monitoring the quality and safety of the products and your working environment.
  • Adjusting the production process based on the results of intermediate measurements and analyses.
  • Keeping the machines and your workspace clean and organised.
  • Working carefully and accurately with strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Following all applicable production, quality and safety procedures.

You are a perfect match on our vacancy for Formation Operator if:

  • You have a good command of either the English or Dutch language.
  • You are comfortable working in a physically demanding production environment.
  • You are physically strong and capable of performing lifting activities as part of your daily work.
  • You are able to stand for long periods during your shift.
  • You do not mind getting dirty while working with raw materials and production equipment.
  • You work carefully and have a strong eye for detail.
  • You have a quality-focused and safety-conscious approach to your work.
  • You are reliable, motivated and able to follow work instructions accurately.
  • You are interested in a long-term, full-time position.
  • You are willing to work regular day shifts from 07:30 to 16:00.

What we offer 

  • A competitive starting salary of €2,802.58 gross per month according to the Collective Labour Agreement for the Rubber and Plastics Industry.
  • ET scheme benefit of approximately €30–€35 per week based on working hours, providing a payroll tax advantage.
  • 8% holiday allowance.

  • We take care of the transportation by finding a car for you (either personal or shared with roommates);
  • Covered travel costs to and from work (fuel card).
  • We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your new home;
  • We will get you your Dutch healthcare insurance and tax number;
  • The respective employment contract, signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English).
