As a Bakery Production Worker, you play an important role in the production process of traditional Dutch pies (“Vlaaien”). You will start at the beginning of the production process, preparing dough and fillings, and gradually learn the entire process, from mixing ingredients to operating the production machinery.

Every day is different, making the work varied and dynamic.

Your responsibilities

As a Bakery Production Worker, you actively participate in all stages of the production process. Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing dough and fillings according to precise recipes.
  • Operating production machinery used to shape, fill and decorate the pies.
  • Working accurately and ensuring that every pie meets the required high-quality standards.
  • Working together with a team of 6–7 colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
  • Keeping your workplace clean and organised in accordance with the hygiene standards required in the food industry.
  • Participating in an internal training programme with the goal of developing into a fully trained, multi-skilled operator.

You are a perfect match on our vacancy for Operator packing / Bakery Production Worker if:

  • You have experience in pastry production or have previously worked in a bakery production environment.
  • You have an interest in food, and previous experience as a chef, butcher or food production worker is considered a strong advantage.
  • You are a team player who communicates well, stays organised and thinks ahead.
  • You are physically fit and able to stand, walk and occasionally lift weights of up to 20 kg.
  • You have a good command of the English language to communicate effectively with your international colleagues.
  • You are available for full-time employment for 38 hours per week.
  • You are willing to work in a three-shift system: morning, afternoon and night shifts.
  • You are looking for a long-term position and want to grow together with the company.
  • You hold a valid Category B driving licence.
  • You hold a Greek ID card or an EU passport. The Greek ID card must have been issued within the last 5 years and must be undamaged.

For us, motivation and a positive attitude are what matter most. We are looking for a true team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved.

What we offer

  • A gross monthly salary starting from €3,384 based on a 38-hour working week.
  • Attractive allowances for afternoon shifts, night shifts and weekend work.
  • A comprehensive onboarding programme: during the first 3–4 weeks, you will work day shifts together with a mentor who will teach you all the details of the role.
  • Company clothing and protective footwear, including a cleaning service.
  • The prospect of a permanent contract based on good performance.
  • Excellent working conditions in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for the Industrial Bakery sector.
  • Free coffee, tea, soup and fresh pie every day in the canteen.
  • Fresh fruit twice a week.
  • The opportunity to join the staff association, which organises enjoyable outings and activities.

We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for the rent is around €200-210 per week and includes water, electricity, natural gas and internet.

  • We take care of the transportation by finding a car for you (either personal or shared with roommates);
